some suggestions to get started:

the powers that be, allowing you to email your concerns.
Do not let your concerns go unspoken, but address the right
audience within the district. Engage your child's teacher and
principal first, and then move on to the Superintendent's office if need be.
Policy issues should be taken up with the board either privately or
at the public speaking time during board meetings.
Start attending board meetings regularly to see for yourself what
is and what is not being done. Ask a question or make a point
during the public time at the end so that board members have
feedback from the public.
Send written correspondence to the board. They will acknowledge
your letter at the next board meeting:

Talk to other parents and get out the word on our movement.
